Agent Skills
NexusAi Summary: Agent Skills is an open-source engineering skill pack that gives AI coding agents structured workflows for spec, planning, building, testing, reviewing, simplifying, securing, and shipping software.
NexusAi Overview
Agent Skills helps developers make AI coding agents more consistent by packaging senior engineering practices into reusable commands, skills, quality gates, anti-rationalization checks, and verification-driven workflows.
Core Features & Capabilities
Ideal for software developers, AI coding agent users, engineering teams, technical founders, open-source maintainers, staff engineers, code reviewers, QA engineers, security engineers, platform teams, frontend engineers, backend engineers, DevOps teams, and teams that want AI coding agents to follow disciplined software delivery practices instead of improvising.
- Use lifecycle commands such as spec, plan, build, test, review, code-simplify, and ship to guide agentic development
- Apply production-grade engineering skills for TDD, debugging, code review, security hardening, performance, CI/CD, and observability
- Improve AI coding agent reliability with explicit workflows, verification gates, checklists, and anti-rationalization rules
- Install skills into Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot, Kiro, Codex, and compatible agents
- Use specialist personas such as code reviewer, test engineer, security auditor, and web performance auditor for targeted reviews

Why Developers Choose Agent Skills
Visit the Agent Skills GitHub repository, then install it through the supported workflow for your coding agent. Claude Code users can install it as a plugin, while Cursor, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot, Kiro, Codex, and other agent users can copy or reference the Markdown skill files and instructions. Start with the lifecycle commands such as spec, plan, build, test, review, and ship, then add specific skills such as test-driven development, source-driven development, frontend UI engineering, API design, debugging, security hardening, performance optimization, documentation, and observability as needed.
